No theme is too crazy or too glamourous in Hotel City – the style and layout is completely up to you! Express the inner you or explore new possibilities with new items added to the collections each week; choose from a whole myriad of wallpapers, floors and decorations to spruce up your customers’ rooms. Will you go the classic red carpet look or give your customers something to talk about with a new style of your very own?
EARN
Give your workers shifts to run your hotel for you – from 2 hours to 2 days! As they work, you’ll get the coins to bring your grand design to life. Customers will enjoy staying at a well decorated hotel but they will also pay to go the gym, eat at your five star gourmet restaurant or take a plunge in the swimming pool!
If you’re just starting out in Hotel City and need a helping hand, we’ve got it covered: grab a job at your friend’s hotel and earn a bit of extra cash on the side! Yup, now you can visit your friends’ hotels and work for them, too!
This new feature means you can apply for jobs your friends advertise on their profiles – but be quick! Open jobs in Hotel City are limited and someone else might take the spot you wanted and those hard earned coins! If you are lucky enough to get the job, be sure to go to your friend’s hotel and pick up your daily salary!

great game for RC players making their rooms look like houses rather restos but the graphics are very different from RC so its like just one of flash games and craps… it would be best if you make the graphics 3D! 🙂

But, i think that there are still many things to polish. For example the fact that it is almost impossible to earn enough money just by letting your employeed work, and the prices are to high to reach. The thing is the only way to get enough money to improve the rooms is by adding friends, but i do not think it is a good way: it takes triple of time, and it is insecure for children under age, as it lets their facebook page too expose by adding strangers just for a game.
What’s more, i strongly believe that an increase in the amount of money given by playing would bring many more players to this game.
I understand this is a Beta version, but i hope you can take my suggestions into account. I beleive my feedback could be important for you to know what is need to be improved.
Thanks for your time and remain this way. Playfish team is a great influence in many aspects of nowadays people’s life, and you are doing it fabulously.

Hotel City is quite fun. I think you should be able to make money from things such as: If you have an air-con in a room, that room pays you more money. If you have a mini-bar in a room, the people in that room pay to use it. You could even make stocking the mini-bar an option. Good game though. (:

You might have to download like java or flashdrive or whatever plugin that needs to be installed for the game. also you might have that website blocked like at the top if you have firefox . hit allow and that might help i hope this helps 😀

Ugh… I really like the setup of your game but don’t like how hard it is to earn funds to buy stuff. I finally, after MANY shifts, saved up enough to buy the Victorian room… then it showed an error so I had to reload the game. Now the Victorian room is just an empty double-room… not even a bed in there! And my money is still gone from the purchase… so annoying. Is there anything you can do about this?!

Hi there,
My friends and I are playing this game and we are having some trouble with hiring staff to work in our hotel. One of my friends responded to my ad post and was hired as a receptionist. I have two other available positions but none of my other friends are able to respond and sign-on to my ads posted. This is so even when I have not hired any temporary staff. While posting the ad, temp staff were not hire yet and it was during the changing of shifts.
I am also unable to sign-on to my friend’s ad on positions available in their hotel even when they have not hired any temp staff nor has anyone signed up yet.
I appreciate if the person in-charge of hotel city could advise me on this or do something about it so that the game can be played more efficiently. Thanks for your attention and assistance!

Another idea that I’m suggesting is that instead of cashing in money, could players transfer coins from one playfish game to another? (ie moving $1000 from Restaurant city to Hotel City?)

i think you can just go to redecorate and then at the bottom there is a cash register and if you go to your storage which is the top tab and drag an item down to the register it will let you sell it or should i believe hope this helps 😀

Hi guys Hotel City is really great to play with, but is it possible to have an option to hire friends like in Restaurant city? you can go to your application settings and hit the “x” button and it will ask you like if you are sure or not or something like that and if you hit yes or whatever button there is it will i believe get deleted hope this helps 😀

Ok. I like the gift giving ability. Please simplify it so it is a one step process. Also please make a few more adjustments like: 1) I work at a few hotels but I am not able to collect the tips I am suppose to get. 2) I am suppose to be able to expand my hotel to 60 spaces but I am not able to do this. 3) Make it easier to make money quicker OR lower the prices of the items that we have available to us for decorating or buying the completed rooms. I DO LIKE this game and hope to see a few more improvements so my friends will take more interest in the game

What happened?! I just finished fixing my hotel, after a few hours I came back to look at it and I found out that THREE of my POSH RESTAURANTS and TWO of the DECORATED ROOMS are GONE! I looked at my INVENTORY but all the things I stored were GONE!!! All those stuff I worked hard for is now GONE!

i have been having trouble with hotel city,, i redecorate and have lost furniture and coins this has happened 3 times today. i luv the game gut its frustarating to loose what you have just purchased ,,,, i would have lost over20000 in coins and more in furnishings.. it comes up with a ,,,,14 and tells me to refresh.

I’ve lost faith in the game. I leveled up pretty quickly and still I get nothing for it. I spend a lot of coins making the rooms fancy and get nothing more for it. One day I got 5k coins each time a hotel critic came into the hotel..so I decorated and added. Then the next day, most was gone and have zero coins. Totally sucked. I also cannot collect a money bag from my neighbors each day because they don’t show up everyday. I was away from the computer for 4 days…all I got was more roaches in the same rooms as always. I have been active enough to not have to get them. Cannot level up anymore…cannot get coins…not easy to send gift to Hotel City friends cuz you have to select through all of your friends to determine who is on hotel city. If you would like more feedback, I’d be happy to help…but it’ll have to be over e-mail because who knows if I’ll even find this page again. Your navigation needs work!

I love playing this game, but today 5/11/10, I went in expanded my hotel and purchased rooms, but nothing saves. I have tried saving and exiting, I have just exited, but nothing will save. I had my husband try his and his is working and saving not problem. I have tried turning off my computer and restarting, still will not save. It will let me play, update the time to start the game, but when I go back in, the game is back to time expired and everything I have done is gone. Please help. Thanks

I think Hotel City is a very interesting game and I enjoy playing this game a lot. A few minutes ago, I redecorated my hotel with the swimming pool. Even though I succedded in doing so, a loading problem occurred all of a sudden. I not only need to redecorate my hotel, but also lose my garden cupcake cafe. It’s gone,⋯⋯ and I can’t find it in my storage! You know it costs a lot, I can’t afford another one in a very short time. Can you tell me what happened?

I got a problem with this game.. it usually pops out an error it says: Oops, something went wrong! The error has been logged and will try to fix it as soon is possible. You need to reload the game. Thank you for your patience. and comes with the beta sign in the right corner. the error code is: 14.
It says i need to reload the game but the error still comes out. This situation has been ocurred for almost a month so plz try to fix it soon!! my patience is running out LOL. thanks anyway. I hope u do something about it.

Me encanta el juego pero estoy teniendo muchos problemas.
Sólo puedo pedirles propina a los clientes una sola vez al día, cuando apago algún fuego,etc. me dan dinero pero sólo las dos o tres primeras veces (133 monedas la primera y 50 las siguientes) y, si sube de nivel mientras no estoy conectada, no me lo notifica ni me da dinero.
Me gustaría saber si hay alguna forma de empezar de nuevo o de arreglarlo.

Why am I having so much stress playing such an enjoyable game like
Hotel City?….AND how many times do I need to kill off all the roaches
before I can carry on with the game? Every time I clock in ,the game will
hang and the connection will be disconnected and the same old sentence
with the sorry sign will appear……It is sickening, when are u guys going
to improve on this programme so that we can all enjoy a good uninterrupted

this is a very fun game to play but i havr also had some problems!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i am at lvl 19 and lost 39,000 coins at one time just cuz i went to home and tried to collect gifts that my friends sent me. i also noticed that every time i do that i also lose 2 or 3,000 coins. i have also had several floors and a silver star taken away from me while in storage. and yes the products are to expensive.
how can a person advance to level 20 when 39,000 coins were taken from my score??????????????? please respond or this really fun game isnt gonna be that fum when a person gets stolen from. i will quit if this keeps happening cuz the game is pointless.

does anyone out there that has the ability to fix or read these blogs on the problems we are having??? are we talking to air or something that can fix the troubles we are all having???? i still loose alot of coins or dont get the coin gifts that are givin to me. i thought this game was really awsome but you know the more i play and get ripped off on coins, gifts, stars and all of the items in storage. I am starting to believe the game rreally sucks cuz no one fixes the problems!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! id like a response or u can take ur game AND SHOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
