From the Runway: Pet Society Fans Predict Hot Fashion Trends

by

We recently inspired Pet Society fans to predict this season’s hottest looks by designing chic and trendy outfits for their pets in the first-ever Pet Society Fashionista Competition! From retro chic, punk-rock glam, bohemian vogue to animal-inspired couture, the fashion-forward designs we received were amazing! Everyone who entered the competition wowed us with their inspired outfits and we are in awe of all the creativity.

So, without further ado, let’s meet the winners and runner-ups from each category. Each of the winners will win 150 Playfish cash, while category runners-up will take away 100 Playfish cash!

Formal

The runner-up in the formal category is Ruthie Abad. From the shiny top hat, elegant cane, sleek buttoned-down military coat, to the black gloves, Ruthie’s “Elegant Gothic Aristocrat” ensemble embodies true debonair glamour.

The winner in the formal category goes to Alma Baldares Lopez. Alma’s “The Lord of the Bunnys” design beautifully combines a whimsical fairytale with a hint of punk edge. The design is very Alice in Wonderland-esque and very avant-garde.

Fashion alert, fashion alert!!! Top Hats are the way to go this fall!

Nightwear

Cristina Flotta’s “Cloudy Night” outfit was voted runner-up in the nightwear category. Combining a cloud hat, silky-long blond wig, dreamy nightgown with fluffy fringe, and slippers, not only will you be on Cloud 9, but you’ll be in Fashion Heaven!

Winning the nightwear category is Dulce Pedraza. Dulce’s “Sweet Fluffy Starry Night” pajama set includes a star “onesie,” yellow nightcap with star pins, star plushie and a calming moon balloon. It’ll be hard to fall asleep looking this cute, but we’ll take the risk!

Who says you have to wear sweats and an old t-shirt to bed? Definitely not Pet Society fans – they want their sweet dreams with style!

Leisure

Back to school, and back to fashion! That’s what leisure category runner-up Cristina Jimenez Moya was thinking when designing her casual outfit. Perfect for the crisp fall breeze, Cristina’s outfit includes a cozy knit cap, a double-breasted green wool coat and fashionable brown pants. You’ll get an A+ in style sporting this outfit to school!

Dylan Bruno, winner of the leisure category, says “no more frilly dresses!” Well, you won’t need a dress to show off your feminine power when wearing this super hip get up! Urban glam is at its finest when you pair super trendy harem pants topped with a stylish tee and vest, and accessorized with a paperboy cap, bangles, cuffs and great hair!

As true fashionistas, Pet Society fans rock high fashion in even the most casual of places!

Haute Couture

Vroom, vroom! Runner-up Chong Mei Shyaun’s Haute Couture design, “Transformello” kicks starts fashion into high gear! Inspired by the power one may feel riding a motorcycle, Chong Mei’s design is both fast and furious!

The winning design in the Haute Couture category goes to Teresa De Sio’s “Autumn Bloom” design. This brown satin dress with voluminous skirt and one-shoulder strap bodice is the perfect party dress. Also, the orange flower blossom accent on the dress and hairpiece will make you the star of any Fall Harvest Ball.

Whether it’s being inspired by nature or a machine, Pet Society fans aren’t afraid to show off their creativity! After all, self expression will never go out of style!

Grand Prize Winner!

And the Grand Prize Winner of the Pet Society Fashionista Competition goes to Maria Jose Montiel, who designed the “Le Rock and Chic” ensemble for the leisure category.  The elegance and femininity of the aubergine colored, pleated skirt combined with the edgier belted double-breasted jacket makes this the perfect outfit for any day of the week! Whether atop the Eiffel Tower or strolling through the Louvre, you’ll be strolling the Cat Walk with confidence wherever you go!

As the grand prize winner, Maria will be the proud owner of a shiny new iPad® and 500 Playfish cash – Congratulations!  You’re the belle of the ball!

Also, starting September 16, each of the category winners and the Grand Prize winner’s designs will be featured in Pet Society and made available to the game’s millions of players to buy for their pets.

We all know fashion plays an integral role in Pet Society – after all, how many times a day do you visit the Clothing Store or change outfits? Through fashion, Pet Society has been enabling players to uniquely express their creativity and personality!

Thank you to everyone who participated in the first-ever Pet Society Fashionista Competition!
